Privacy and KVKK Disclosure Notice

This text is prepared under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) to explain in plain language how your personal data is processed.

1. Who is the data controller?

The data controller is Yet Collective (Istanbul). Contact: [email protected]. Yet Collective operates as a sole proprietorship; this text will be updated when the trade name and address are determined.

2. Which of your data do we process?

  • Contact form: your name, email address, brand or company name, your role and everything you write in your message.
  • WhatsApp conversation: if you write to us on WhatsApp, your phone number, profile name and the messages you send.
  • Email: if you email us, your address and your message.
  • Server logs: technical records kept by the hosting provider when you visit the site (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit).
  • Cookies: see the Cookie Policy for details.
  • YetAI site assistant: messages you type in the chat are sent to a third-party AI service (Google) to generate a reply. Please do not enter personal data in the chat. If you use the dictate button, your speech is converted to text by your browser’s speech recognition service, which is operated by the browser vendor.

We don’t ask you for sensitive information. Please don’t share this kind of information in the form or in conversation.

3. Why do we process your data?

  • To receive your request, reply to you and schedule a meeting.
  • To keep the site secure and running.
  • To send you information and articles by email, if you have allowed it.
  • To meet our legal obligations.
  • To understand and improve how the site is used (with Google Analytics 4: detailed if you consent in the cookie banner, anonymous and non-identifying if you do not).

4. What is the legal basis?

  • Replying to your request: holding talks to enter into a contract, and our legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f).
  • Server logs and site security: our legitimate interest and our legal obligations (Art. 5/2-f and 5/2-ç).
  • Sending information and articles by email: your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). You give it with the optional checkbox in the form; you can withdraw it at any time.
  • Analytics cookies: the explicit consent you give in the cookie banner. If you don’t consent, no cookie is set; only anonymous, non-identifying measurement takes place. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Who do we share your data with?

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with parties needed to provide the service:

  • Natro: our site is hosted on Natro’s servers in Türkiye; site records and form submissions are kept there.
  • Cloudflare: used for the domain’s DNS management, content delivery and site security; requests to the site pass through Cloudflare.
  • Email service: the email service tied to our domain is provided by Natro; your emails are stored on that service’s servers.
  • Google: Google Analytics 4 (visit measurement). It works with cookies if you consent, and without cookies and anonymously if you do not.
  • WhatsApp conversations are subject to Meta’s terms and privacy policy, because Meta processes WhatsApp under them.
  • Authorized public bodies and institutions, if legally required.

Transfer abroad: your data may be transferred abroad because of Google, Cloudflare and Meta (WhatsApp) services. Such transfers are made under the conditions in the KVKK, that is, with your explicit consent or where adequate protection exists. Because analytics tools run only if you consent, transfers through them also happen only with your consent. Fonts on the site are loaded from our own server, so no data goes to a third party for fonts.

6. How long do we keep it?

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purpose it was processed and for as long as the relevant legislation requires. When that period ends, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized. We keep your correspondence for as long as the purpose of processing requires, and for statutory retention and limitation periods.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you can:

  • Find out whether your data is being processed.
  • Request information if it has been processed.
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly.
  • Know the parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your data is transferred.
  • Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.
  • Request deletion or destruction within the conditions set by law.
  • Request that correction, deletion and destruction be notified to the parties to whom your data was transferred.
  • Object to an outcome against you that arises from analyzing the processed data solely through automated systems.
  • Request compensation if you suffer harm because your data was processed unlawfully.

8. How to apply

You can send your requests to [email protected]. To help us verify your identity, it makes things easier if the email address you write from matches the one you used with us. We reply to your application as soon as possible depending on the nature of the request, and in any case within the period stated by law. If you are not satisfied with our reply, your right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Board is reserved.

9. Updates
